KARACHI, Feb 7: Three ships scheduled to load/ offload containers, cement and furnace oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

In the meantime, another vessel with wheat also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Nedlloyed America, San Andres, Zabrjad, John GR, Theodosia and Sea Sky, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, clinker, wheat and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 84,032 tons comprising 63,286 tons of import and 20,746 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was slow as only Nedlloyd America left the port while San Andres was expected to depart.
