KARACHI: Cold snap to continue

KARACHI, Feb 5: The city remained in the grip of strong and cold north-westerly winds on Tuesday, forcing Karachians to wear woollies to protect themselves from the harsh weather which, according to the met officials, is expected to get colder – with a drop of approximately three degrees centigrade – in the next 24 hours.

The minimum temperature recorded in the city on Tuesday was 9.8 degrees Celsius, while the maximum was 20.5 degrees Celsius, with humidity remaining at 19 per cent.
