KARACHI, Feb 1: Nokia and Trolltech have entered into agreement which provides that Nokia will make a public voluntary tender offer to acquire Trolltech, a company based in Oslo, Norway and publicly listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, says a press release.

Trolltech is a recognised software provider with world class software development platforms and frameworks.

KARACHI, Feb 1: SKF and GE Aviation have agreed to form a new company, which will manufacture and refurbish bearings for GE’s engines for large aircraft. The new company with SKF holding 51 per cent share and GE Aviation 49 per cent, will be consolidated into the SKF Group and represented an investment of some $28 million, excluding the building that will be leased, says a press release.

KARACH, Feb 1: Allied bank has signed an agreement with Teradata to transform its call centre into a single window Customer Contact Centre for its customer interactions and phone banking services, says a press release.

The customers will be able to pay bills, generate their PIN numbers get access to the transaction history and customise their banking services through the contact centre.
