2 security men shot dead

By Our Staff Correspondent QUETTA, Dec 12: Two personnel of the Balochistan Constabulary were shot dead in the Arbab Ghulam Ali Road area on Wednesday evening.

Police sources said Mohammad Yaqoob and Mohammad Ismail came under fire when they were on a patrol duty. One of them died on the spot and the other in hospital. The Baloch Libertarian Army claimed responsibility for the attack.

Calling from an unknown place on a satellite phone, Bebargh Baloch, a spokesman for the group, also claimed to have killed two security personnel in Kahan tehsil’s Karmo-Wadh area.

Official sources denied the claim about the killing in Karmo-Wadh.
