NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Man shot dead

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Dec 7: A man was killed over a matrimonial dispute near Bhirya town bypass on Thursday night.

Bakhshal Lungio of village Zaki Kalhoro lodged an FIR with Bhirya police that his cousin Wazir Ahmed Lungio was returning home after selling milk when five people shot him near Bhirya town bypass.

The relatives of the deceased staged demonstration and blocked the National Highway by keeping the body on the road.

SHO Bhirya town police Mumtaz Jarwar reached the spot and on his assurance, the protesters dispersed and the body was taken to hospital for post-mortem.

The police lodged an FIR under Section 302, 147, 148 PPC against Akram, Hameed, Nazar Mohammad, Kifayatullah and Ahad, all residents of village Hassan Chang, near Pakka Chang.
