LARKANA: Holiday in Sukkur on 27th

LARKANA, Nov 24: Sukkur District Nazim Syed Nasir Hussain Shah declared Tuesday Nov 27th (Ziqad 16th, 1428 Hijra) as local holiday in the district on the occasion of the concluding day of the 139th annual Urs celebrations of renowned poet Fakir Qadir Bakhsh Bedil.

BISE RESULT: The Sukkur Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education on Saturday announced result of Higher Secondary Certificate Part-I (Class -XI) annual examination 2007 of Humanities, Commerce and Home Economics groups.

According to the result, 5,809 candidates appeared in Humanities group of whom 3,248 were declared passed in six subjects. Similarly, in Commerce group, 256 candidates appeared in the examination of whom 57 cleared all the seven subjects.

In Home Economics group, 28 candidates appeared in the examination of whom 10 passed in seven subjects, nine got through six subjects, four passed only five subjects, one could pass only four subjects.
