Musharraf goes to S. Arabia today

RIYADH, Nov 19: President Gen Pervez Musharraf will visit Saudi Arabia on Tuesday for talks with King Abdullah, the official SPA news agency reported on Monday. “He will be going for a bilateral trip to discuss economic cooperation and security issues. No meeting with Sharif is on the agenda,” a senior government official said.

Gen Musharraf and King Abdullah will discuss “ways of boosting bilateral relations” as well as “regional and international issues of common concern,” SPA said, adding that the Pakistani leader will also perform Umrah.—AFP
