Reshuffle in NWFP bureaucracy

PESHAWAR, Nov 12: The caretaker government of the NWFP on Monday ordered reshuffle of several provincial secretaries and senior executive officers, most of them believed to be close to the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal.

According to a notification issued by establishment and administration department; Provincial Inspection Team Chairman Shah Wali Khan has been transferred and posted as the Environment Secretary, replacing Noorul Haq Khan. Mr Haq will work as NWFP Services Tribunal Member. Hifzur Rehman Kazi has been posted as Food Secretary, replacing Jamal-uddin, who has been directed to report to the E&AD. Mohammad Umar Khan Afridi has been posted as Information Secretary, replacing Mohammad Afzal Khan who had been told to report to the E&AD.

NWFP Services Tribunal Member Shah Sahib has been transferred and posted as Secretary of Zakat, Ushr, Social Welfare and Women Develop-ment, replacing Rehmatullah Khan Bhitani, who has been directed to report to the E&AD.

Zakat and Ushr Additional Secretary Hazrat Khan Aurakzai has been transferred and posted as the Provincial Inspection Team Chairman.

Charsadda District Coordi-nation Officer Fida Hussain Afridi has been directed to report to the E&AD and Abid Ali has been posted in his place. Ghulam Qadir, who was awaiting posting in the E&AD, has been posted as Reforms Coordinator in the SAC Reform Unit of the Finance Department.
