TRIPOLI, Nov 12: Libya has imposed new entry regulations on western visitors, which resulted in at least one planeload of foreigners being turned away from the north African state, a European diplomat said on Monday.
“The Libyan authorities said they had informed airlines in time about the rule change but that they had not in turn informed their passengers,” the diplomat said after a meeting between Western ambassadors and Libyan foreign ministry officials.—AFP
