QUETTA, Nov 8: National Party chief Dr Abdul Hayee Baloch has said that political parties, lawyers and the civil society will mobilise people for a decisive movement against the government for restoration of the Constitution.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, he proposed an all-party conference to work out a plan for the movement.

He said that the government was bent upon on distorting the Constitution and suppressing the voice of the people. Dr Baloch said that Gen Musharraf’s claims about enlightened moderation had been exposed since the imposition of emergency which negated human rights.

He called for immediate end to the emergency rule and formation of an independent election commission to conduct fair and impartial elections in the country.
