Demo against Karachi blast held
MARDAN, Oct 20: Activists of the People’s Lawyers Forum (PLF) organised a demonstration against blasts in the welcoming procession of PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto in Karachi.
The protesters were led by PLF office-bearers Ashrafuddin Khan, Abid Ali Shah and Sharafat Khan.
Speakers condemned the attack and called upon the government to expose the faces behind the terrorist activity.
They said that undemocratic forces wanted to sabotage the struggle of the people for a true democratic dispensation in the country.—Correspondent
