Call for anti-malaria spray

By Our Correspondent

LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), Oct 20: People in Ali Masjid and Lala Cheena localities of Jamrud tehsil have urged the government to send medical teams to control the spread of malaria in the area.

They alleged that despite several complaints, the authorities concerned had yet to start anti-malaria spray in the effected areas.

They said that almost every house in the area had been affected by the disease and it was fast spreading to other areas of the tehsil.

They said the only basic health centre in the area could not cope with the situation and the health department had failed to provide them anti-malaria medicines.
