PPP leader killed in Karachi blast

QUETTA, Oct 20: Khalil Somalani, PPP’s Mach tehsil general secretary of the Pakistan People’s Party, is reported to have been killed in the Karachi attack.

The party’s spokesman said on Friday that PPP’s provincial president Nawabzada Haji Lashkari Raisani and Bismillah Kakar, provincial general secretary and member of the provincial council Dur Mohammad Hazara had been injured.

Mr Kakar said that other party leaders, including Mir Sadiq Umrani and Shafiq Ahmed Khan, and other party activists who had gone to Karachi from Quetta and other parts of the province, remained unhurt.
