Two killed

ISLAMABAD, Oct 20: A man was stabbed to death in Pirwadhai on Saturday, while another person was killed in a road accident in Saddar Barooni area, police said.

In the first incident, Ali Ahmed, aged between 20 and 25, was stabbed to death by some unidentified persons in his rented room in Pirwadhai on Saturday. Ali Ahmed’s murder came to light when his employer, Alam Zaib, came to his room to inquire about him as he had not come for duty.

The police said after Alam Zaib found the door locked from outside, he entered the room from the window and found him dead.

He had been repeatedly stabbed in the belly which caused his death. Nothing else was missing from his room, the police said.

The body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem. Police have started investigation into the murder case.

In the second incident, a man identified as Ishtiaq Hussain was killed after being hit by a speeding car in Saddar Barooni police area on Friday night, police said.—Staff Reporter
