HARIPUR: Power shutdown notice

HARIPUR, Oct 20: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) on Saturday announced that power supply would be suspended in the town for 36 hours in order to replace a 132KV transformer at the Haripur grid station.

According to an official handout, the transformer had developed a fault and would be replaced with a new one.

Supply to different power feeders, including Feeder Town One, Two and the Hazara Phosphate would remain suspended from 6am on Oct 24 to 6pm on Oct 25.

Pesco said a plan was in place to provide electricity to the affected areas at different intervals.
