KARAK, Oct 10: All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) district leaders have strongly condemned the election of Gen Musharraf as President of Pakistan and termed Oct 6 the blackest day.

While addressing a press conference here on Wednesday after a meeting, the provincial information secretary of Pukhtoon Khwa Milli Awami Party, Umer Khan Khattak, District President of Jamat-i-Islami Maulana Samiur Rehman, ANP district President Taleem Khan Advocate and PML (N) district President Wahid Rehman said that the district cabinet has been formed and Taleem Khan Advocate has been selected as its convener, Noor Mohammad as secretary information and Ayatullah Khattak as secretary finance.

They alleged that President Musharraf had weakened the ideological boundaries of the country and made a mockery of Islamic values in the country.

They said that on the behest of the USA he propagated against religious seminaries and deviated the Pakistani army from its basic motto of “Jehad Fee Sabilallah” and confronted it with his own countrymen.

The APDM leaders said that the present regime through the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) had awarded certificates of cleanliness to those looters and thieves who had looted the national exchequer ruthlessly with both hands.

They resolved to launch a protest movement against the rulers as soon as they got a signal from the high command of the APDM.
