SUKKUR, Oct 6: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sukkur on Saturday announced the result of Secondary School Certificate Part-I (Class-IX) annual examination 2007 (science and general groups), said an official announcement.

It said that as many as 36,305 candidates appeared in the exams for science group out of whom 24,180 candidates got through in five subjects, 7,047 candidates in four subjects, 3,251 in three subjects, 1,245 candidates in two subjects and 313 candidates cleared single subject while 118 were declared fail in all subjects.

Similarly, in general group, 1,645 candidates appeared, out of whom 926 candidates passed in five subjects, 283 in four, 151 in three subjects, 39 candidates in two subjects and 19 in one subject while 152 candidates were declared fail in all subjects, the announcement said.—APP
