Return filing timings extended

ISLAMABAD, Sept 27: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended timing for filing of income tax returns for the tax year 2007. An official announcement issued here on Thursday said that all income tax offices would remain open up to 7.00pm on September 29 and till 8.00pm on September 30, respectively.

For convenience of the taxpayers, all the authorised branches of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) will remain open up to 4.00pm on Sept 29 and till 5.00pm on Sept 30 for accepting the deposits of income tax. The return forms could be downloaded from CBR website www.cbr.gov.pk.
