KARACHI, Sept 20: Five ships carrying steel coils, crude and base oils are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Y.M. Moon, Hyundai Sprinter to unload and load containers and Santos-C were berthed after departure of as many. The ships, which departed included Daji, APL Shenzhen and Fas Var while Y.M. Moon and Santos-C are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was fairly active where a total tonnage of 0.116m tons comprising, 16,016 tons of export cargo and 99,597 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Shina with base oil, Johar and Akaki with crude oil, Addarrag to load molasses and Global Progress with steel coils.
