ISLAMABAD, Sept 7: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has amended sales tax rules 2007. The amendments were notified through a sales tax notification SRO907 of 2007 issued here on Friday.

According to amendments, in rule 26, in clause (b), for the words “in the manufacture of goods, which are supplied to registered persons”, the words “thereof in the manufacture of goods chargeable to sales tax” shall be substituted and the proviso shall be omitted.
