JACOBABAD, Sept 5: Chairman Sindh National Front Mumtaz Ali Khan Bhutto has termed the government and Pakistan People’s Party negotiations to strike a deal as pre-poll rigging and said that it could be challenged in a court of law.

It was a bad luck of the nation that Pervez Musharraf and PPP have joined hands to rule, while the people had rejected the general and his partners, he remarked.

He was speaking at luncheon hosted by him for eminent personalities of his ancestral village Dodapur Bhutto, taluka Garhi Khairo of district Jacobabad, on Wednesday.

Syed Bismillah Shah, Liaquat Ali Khan Rind, Zafar Ali Khan Buriro, Akhtiar Ahmed Khan Lohar, Nisar Ahmed Mirani, Moula Bux Khoso and others were present on the occasion.Mr Bhutto said that the PPP voted twice in the past to the government but it failed to deliver the goods. He alleged that not only Ms Benazir was involved in plundering the country’s wealth but many of her party members were also involved in misappropriating public money due to which they left the country and opted for exile.

If the looters were brought into the power again, the country would collapse and turn into hell, he said.

He urged the people to raise their voice against, what he termed, anti-state and anti-people elements.

Mr Bhutto said that the law and Constitution of the country did not allow President General Pervez Musharraf to waste public money on PPP only to win its sympathies and support for his presidential election.

He claimed that Musharraf-Benazir deal means alliance with the Muttahida Quami Movement hence a conspiracy is being hatched against Sindhis.
