Boycotts mar taluka council sessions

By Our Correspondent

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Aug 31: The meetings of taluka council of Naushahro Feroze held here on Thursday and Friday, could only last for about 20 minutes and half hour respectively.

When the council met on Thursday, the members pointed out absence of the officials of different departments and complained that they were not responding to the council despite repeated reminders. The members boycotted the session.

On Friday, Naib nazim UC Naushahro Feroze, Dr Abdul Qadir Memon, raised the encroachment issue of government Madressa and high school ground and reminded the members that the revenue mukhtiarkar was asked to provide an extract copy of Form-II regarding alleged allotment of this plot to a private party which was not provided as yet.

The Assistant Mukhtiarkar, Badaruddin Pirzada, while responding the point, said that as the school ground matter had become provincial, therefore, his department cannot provide Form-II to the council. Dr Abdul Qadir did not agree with the point of view of Assistant Mukhtiarkar.
