ISLAMABAD, Aug 23: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to waive up penalty in case of filing of withholding statements after due date.

An official announcement issued here on Thursday said that the FBR had directed all its field offices that no adverse action would be taken in cases where statements were filed after August 15 and on or before August 31, 2007.
