KARACHI: DMC opens tomorrow


KARACHI, Aug 21: The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) on Tuesday announced that academic activities at the Dow Medical College would resume from Thursday, however, the Sindh Medical College and Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Institute of Oral Health Sciences would be reopened on Aug 27.

The DUHS had announced suspension of educational activities at Dow Medical College, Sindh Medical College and Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Institute of Oral Health Sciences following a clash between two students’ groups at the JPMC last week.

All students enrolled with the three institutions were advised to display their identity cards while entering the college premises.

Students who do not have identity card will be issued provisional identity cards at the gates of their respective institutions.

It further said that all students should strictly follow the University’s Student Conduct Rules.—APP
