KARACHI, Aug 20: Four ships carrying containers and chemicals were accommodated berths at QICT and EVT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday. Berth occupancy was maintained at 50 per cent as six ships, Sima Paya, America, Pacheco, Sinai, Shad Wan Island and Suzanne, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement and chemicals.

A cargo volume of 48,873 tons comprising 33,267 tons of import and 15,606 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were actives as Cap Arkitas, Pacheco, Shad Wan Island ad Multan left the port, while Sima Paya and Suzanne were expected to depart.
