Ministerial moot with Libya

By Our Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Aug 18: Pak-Libya Joint Ministerial Conference will be held in November to work out measures for increasing trade between the two countries.

An official source told Dawn on Saturday that the Libya was one of the 15 countries identified for focused attention in Africa for increasing export to that country.

Official statistics showed that Pakistan’s exports to Libya stood at $2.635 million during 2005-06 as against $3.818 million in 2004-05, showing a decline of 30.98pc.

However, the trade was still in favour of Pakistan as very nominal imports had been recorded from Libya during the last two years.
