Independence Day rallies allowed

RAWALPINDI, Aug 12: The City District Government has allowed holding of public rallies in the city in connection with the 60th Independence Day.

Out of three main public rallies, two would be held on August 13 while the third one would be held on August 14. The traditional rally in Lal Haveli would be held at 10 pm on August 13 while another public rally to be organised by MPA Ishtiaq Mirza of Pakistan People’s Party would be held at Glass Factory Chowk, Zafar-ul-Haq Road. —Online
