Ex-DIG case hearing adjourned

SANGHAR, Aug 1: The Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sanghar, adjourned the hearing of Amiro Bheel case field against the former DIG of Mirpurkhas, Rana Saleemullah Khan, till August 22.

The case was filed at the Khipro police station a couple of months ago.

Rana Saleemullah, who was granted bail by the Sindh High Court, had moved an application under section 265-K Cr PC for acquittal.

In another application he has sought exemption from appearance in the court. After hearing, the former DIG told journalists that he has no enmity with the Sindh chief minister but the CM will have to face the music for the illegal and extra-constitutional steps. —Correspondent
