NAWABSHAH, July 31: Members of the Mallah community took out a rally and staged a demonstration here on Tuesday to protest against delay in the arrest of killers of a councillor. The rally emerged from Azeem colony and, after passing through main thoroughfares of the city, culminated with a demonstration outside the press club.
The protesters were carrying placards and raising slogans against the A-Section police SHO. The enraged protesters smashed the windscreen of a van. The policemen did not take any action.—Correspondent
