KARACHI, July 31: Three ships carrying containers, coal and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Global Prosperity, Mol Ability to unload and load containers, Dareen to load cement and Swat to offload crude oil were berthed.

Sailing on the other hand was active as seven ships, Abu Kalam Azad, Leed Castle, Kota Helus, Gallant Wave, Multan, Bux Master and Nordwoge departed, while Global Prosperity, Swat, Harmony, Stentor, Lucky Arrow and Mord Wave are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.128m tons comprising 26,049 tons of export cargo and 0.102m tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Hyundai Future with containers, Andrea-D with coal and Carla to load cement.
