KARACHI, July 22: Karachi C struck one in each half to defeat Karachi B 2-0 in PFF Youth soccer at CDGK Stadium on Sunday.

Samad helped the winners go 1-0 ahead in the eighth minute with left foot, while Arsalan Asif doubled the lead in the 77th minute from spot after defender Madad Khan’s serious foul.

Our Sports Correspondent adds from Lahore: A 38th minute goal from Shakeel Ahmad helped Peshawar B beat Nowshera 1-0 at Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar.

Umair Nawaz scored the 78th minute match-winner in Sahiwal’s 1-0 win over Lahore B, while match between Faisalabad C and Faisalabad B ended in a goalless draw.

Monday’s fixtures: Karachi D v Karachi A; Faisalabad D v Faisalabad A; Peshawar A v Dir.
