KARACHI: Khuhro for vigilance

KARACHI, July 22: Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro of the Pakistan People’s Party on Sunday has apprehended that some key figures in the Sindh ruling coalition might try to flee the country to escape punishment for leveling false allegations against Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.

In a statement, Mr Khuhro said such elements were desperately looking for an escape route following pronouncement the Supreme Judicial Council verdict, warning that no institution should dare to facilitate escape of the figures who played a key role in tarnishing the image of the CJ and other senior judges.—PPI
