HK inflation
HONG KONG, July 20: Inflation in Hong Kong rose to 1.3 per cent in June from 1.2 per cent in May as pork prices increased due to supply shortages, official figures showed on Friday.
A government spokesman said tax concessions by the government on certain property deals also had some impact on consumer prices. Barring the concessions, prices would have risen by 2.4 per cent.—AFP
