KARACHI, July 12: Four ships carrying containers and to load cement and ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was light where three ships, Al-Mariyah and Y.M. Moon to unload and load containers and Lucky Arrow to load cement were berthed after the departure of two.

The ships, which departed included Al-Mariyah and APL Yokohama, while Y.M. Moon, Iran Hesabi, Full Wealth, Chemroad Haya, Oel Spirit, Banglar Maya and Lucky Arrow are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 73,278 tons comprising 15,353 tons of export cargo and 57,925 tons of import tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday: Sinar Agra with chemicals, Zhong Hua-7 to load ethanol, Calvin P. Titus with containers and Doha-1 to load 18,000 tons of cement.
