ISLAMABAD, July 2: The British High Commission in Islamabad will issue visas to businessmen for a period of 10 years in a bid to increase the business-to-business interaction between the two countries.

This was stated by Second Secretary of British High Commission Ion Dinsdale in a meeting with officials of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) here on Monday. Third Secretary Anthony O’Driscoll was also present in the meeting.Mr Dinsdale visited the ICCI office to know the registration process of members and rules and regulations of the chamber about the registration of membership. He mentioned that four chambers of commerce of the country had already been visited for this purpose.

According to a press release of the ICCI, Mr Dinsdale said the British High Commission was very keen to facilitate the business community and a business facilitation desk would also be established.

He said that British investors were taking keen interest to invest in Pakistan and also inviting the business community of Pakistan with open arms.
