NEW YORK, July 1: The right wing radio talk show hosts here continue to vilify, Senator Barrack Obama one of the contender for democratic party's nomination for the next President of the United States, by inking him to Muslim extremism, including reviving a widely discredited rumour that he once attended an Islamic religious madressah.

That claim, which first appeared on the conservative site, InsightMag.com in January has been investigated by almost every one of the American television networks and news agencies was found to be baseless.

Mr Obama who lived in Indonesia from the age of 6 to 10, he attended a public school with Christians and Muslims for two years and went to a Catholic school for two years.

But this week the so-called shock jock Michael Savage repeated the allegation on his show on Monday. The liberal Media Matters posted audio in which Savage, whose Savage Nation radio show has 8 million listeners weekly, says Obama was indoctrinated by Muslims at a madressah and highlights his middle name, Hussein.

Meanwhile, another conservative pundit used Obama's middle name to insinuate potential connections to Muslim terrorists. Ann Coulter, while commenting on a speech Obama had given about religion, told Fox News’ Hannity and Colmes: “I do think anyone named B. Hussein Obama should avoid using religion in the same sentence.”
