KARACHI, June 30: Nine ships including three to load cement are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where eight ships, Mary-H to offload coal, Calvin P Titus and Dimitris to unload and load containers, Cruiser to offload fertiliser, Ocean Dominance to unload and load general cargo, Sea Glory, Gemini, oil tankers and Valentine-1, tug, were berthed.

Sailing was also active as eight ships, Hyundai Future, Gulf Pride, Jiao Cheng, Sinai, Igwt, Adriatic Arrow, Spilit and Makran departed on Saturday, while GFO Searcher, Dimitris, Sea Glory, Oel Esteem, Ocean Dominance, Jade Trader and Gemini are due to sail out on Sunday.

A total tonnage of 72,278 tons comprising 23,867 tons of export cargo including 5,416 tons of cement and 48,411 tons of import tonnage was handled on Saturday.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Puma to load ethanol, Portugal to load mogas and ethanol, Global Prince, Ninos, Kama Bhum with containers, Pacific Champion with coal, Valbella, Carribeam Carrier and Red Sea Spirit to load cement.
