KARACHI: Action ordered
KARACHI, June 12: The Sindh Minister for Environment and Alternative Energy, Dr Saghir Ahmed, taking note of the sale of substandard water with different unregistered brand names, has ordered action against those involved in this malpractice.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, he said that some people, after treating water with alum were selling it as mineral water at low rates and fleecing consumers.—PPI
