Euro rises
LONDON, May 31: The European single currency rose against the dollar on Thursday after news that the United States economy experienced slower growth than previously thought in the first quarter of 2007.
The euro climbed as high as $1.3477, compared with $1.3429 in New York late on Wednesday, before dipping down to $1.3455 in late European trading.—AFP
