Altaf asks supporters to end protests

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, May 28: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain on Monday appealed to party workers to stop holding demonstrations against ‘provocative statements’ of a political leader and to remove graffiti against him.

Although he did not name any political leader, it is understood that he was referring to Imran Khan against whom the MQM has been holding rallies for a few days.

In a statement released from London, the MQM chief asked his supporters to demonstrate patience and not to react to the ‘series of provocative statements’ made against him by that political leader.
