HARIPUR, May 28: Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) has completed about 70 small schemes worth Rs20 million in Haripur, Saeed Ghaffar, a deputy manager of the company, said here on Monday.

Mr Ghaffar said the company had replaced 200kms of electricity wires, installed 70 new transformers and 289 high tension and low tension poles in different parts of Haripur. He claimed that the renovation work had solved the problems of overloading of transformers and low-voltage.

He termed the situation concerning line losses and recovery of dues as satisfactory.
