KARACHI, May 23: A career counselling conference was organised by the Department of Pharmacy, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) on Wednesday.

The In-charge Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Dr Syed Kamaluddin, inaugurated the conference.

Speaking on the occasion, he pointed out that the Department of Pharmacy FUUAST had made rapid headway in a short span of time.

Dr Kamal said that a plan was underway to further develop the department as well as the laboratory and library.

The Incharge Vice-Chancellor stated that more teachers are being appointed.

He was optimistic that the positive results of these would shortly become evident.

The chief of the Pakistan Pharma Association, Dr Ali Akbar Siyal, Dean of the Faculty of science, Dr Rashid Kamal Ansari, Head of the department, Lubna Bashir and others also spoke on the occasion.—APP
