Bar warns MQM activists

MANSEHRA, May 13: The District Bar Association threatened on Sunday to set on fire the offices of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Mansehra and Balakot if its activists did not leave the area and abandoned their offices by Monday.

They said: “The MQM is directly involved in the Karachi carnage and must be brought to justice as they not only disrupted the scheduled programme of the Chief Justice of Pakistan, but also killed innocent people who had assembled there to welcome the chief justice.”

DBA acting president Wajid Khan and its secretary general Mohsin Ali Khan advocate told this correspondent that lawyers would observe complete strike against the Karachi carnage on Monday.
