HYDERABAD, April 20: A meeting was held among the representatives of the Karachi Bar Association, the High Court Bar Association, Hyderabad, and the Hyderabad District Bar Association here on Friday to discuss the FIRs registered against the advocates in Hyderabad and Karachi.

The Karachi-based lawyers visited the hunger strike camp outside the Civil Courts building and joined token hunger strike.

They said that the members of legal fraternity were united from Karachi to Khyber. They demanded the withdrawal of FIRs registered against the lawyers in Pakistan.

The advocates decided that they would participate in All Sindh Lawyers Convention on April 22 in Karachi in large numbers.
