Rozgar scheme

KARACHI, March 21: National Bank of Pakistan on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mobilink to finance Mobilink PCO under the President’s Rozgar Scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, NBP Syed president Ali Raza said it was a unique product which was offered to unemployed persons all over country. He said NBP-Mobilink alliance would get an overwhelming response due to wide outreach of both the organisations. He said the bank had so far approved 6,600 loan applications under the scheme.

Chief Executive of Mobilink Zouhair A. Khaliq said any individual can take five wireless telephone sets for his PCO on an advance payment of Rs1,100 under the Rozgar scheme and earn Rs12,000 per month.—APP
