CAPTAIN Graeme Smith smashed an attractive 65-ball 91 on Tuesday as the world number one team beat Scotland by seven wickets and qualified for the Super Eights.

Fellow opener AB de Villiers scored 62. Smith went on the attack from the outset, reaching his fifty off just 36 balls with ten boundaries. In Gros Islet, St Lucia, Kenya were 130 for 5 in 30 overs in reply to New Zealand’s 322.—Agencies
