KARACHI: Training plan for scouts

KARACHI, March 11: The central training and programme sub-committee of PIA Scouts meeting, chaired Provincial Commissioner Training Mohammad Hanif Pathan, was held on Sunday.

Rashid Amin Dar and Khalid Mehmood apprised the meeting about this year’s training plan. The meeting was also attended by Assistant Commissioners (Training) from 11 PIA Scouts Headquarters of the country. They also presented the last year’s annual report.

Secretary Public Relations Syed Mehboob Qadri said the meeting approved recommendations to activate scouts activities at national level in accordance with modern needs. He said all scout groups, including Rover and Shaheen, would be trained in Karachi, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Peshawar.—PPI
