Dollar up against euro
LONDON, March 8: The dollar strengthened against the euro on Thursday after the European Central Bank met market expectations and raised benchmark interest rates in the 13-nation eurozone. The euro slipped to $1.3127 in late European trading, from $1.3176 late in New York on Wednesday. The dollar rose to 117.36 yen, from 116.09 yen on Wednesday. —AFP
