KARACHI, Feb 22: Two ships to load and offload containers and crude oil were allotted berths at QICT and Fotco Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, four more ships carrying containers, furnace oil and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy stood at 50 per cent as a total six ships, CSAV Ningbo, Nedlloyed Oceania, Xiang Wan, Master Nicos, Pertiwi and Regent, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, edible oil and crude oil.

A cargo volume of 65,889 tons comprising 39,571 tons of import and 26,318 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as CSAV Ningbo, Nedlloyed Oceania and Pertiwi left the port while Xiang Wan was due to depart.
