Port Qasim

KARACHI, Feb 20: Three ships carrying containers and furnace oil took berths at QICT and Fotco Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, four more ships carrying crude oil, edible oil and containers also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy fell to 50 per cent as five ships, Sima Pride, Carina, Master Nicos, Bon Plata and Rich Duchess, were busy in loading and offloading containers, rice, edible oil and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 59,566 tons comprising 46,541 tons of import and 13,025 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were brisk as Keefan, Al-Jaber, Sima Pride, Carina and Bow Plata left the port.
